Birds eye view
A birds eye view is a picture taken from the angle that a bird would see; looking directly down on the subject. This can be used to provide perspective or a quick overview of an area. This perspective makes the subject appear short and squat. Examples include: battle scenes, Google earth, and nature scenes.
Eye level
Is a photo taken from the level of the persons eye. An eye-level shot has little to no effect on the viewer. This shot is when the camera is level or looking straight on with the subject. People use this is there everyday life to capture moments.
Is where the camera is placed above the subject looking down. The purpose is to make the characters look weak, submissive or frightened.
Low Angle
Is where the camera placed below the subject or actor's eye. Makes the person look dominate.
